The most recent issue of Museums Journal (the magazine of the Museums
Association in England) has an article on page 6 called "Welsh Free for
All has done little to bring new visitors into museums." It reports
that "the same visitors have been back more frequently and visited a
wider spread of museums," but that the program didn't draw more people
from underrepresented groups. A report from Leicester University's
Research Center for Museums and Galleries will put out a report in
September.
