MUSEUM STORAGE: Request for case studies

'Museum Practice' is the Museums Association's new international
periodical covering practical and technical aspects of work in museums
and galleries. From March 1996, three issues per year will cover a wide
range of topics including environmental control, lighting, storage,
education, outreach, display and visitor services.

Each issue will also contain a major section on a particular aspect of
museum work, starting with STORAGE.

Can you suggest projects that could provide useful lessons and experience
for people wanting to improve their stores or make their reserve
collections more accessible to staff and visitors?

Case studies or evaluations of projects in the other areas listed above
would also be of interest.
