I'm writing a paper (& eventually a website) about making museum websites universally accessible for everyone, including people with disabilities - I'm beginning to wrap this up, but I'm still looking for resources to obtain the following information:

Does anyone have any resources for estimated or actual numbers of museum websites that are currently up and running on WWW? I don't need lists of websites, just the number of them that are on-line.

I also need a copy of the articles that appeared in the January/February 1997 issue of Museum News that were about museum websites. I accidently threw the issue away with other magazines when I got married and moved me things. (If there were other more recent articles, would like copies of these as well.)

Someone had indicated to me to check out NEMA's fall '96 issue, pp. 11 & 23 - I don't have the author's name or title, but it's related to accessibility issues on museum websites.

If you have kept the above issues, I would very much appreciate if you could kindly spare a few minutes looking for them, make copies, and fax/snail mail them to me. You will receive many, many, many thanks from me!
