A well written subject line allows list subscribers to quickly determine if
they want to read or delete the message.

If you are posting a job opening, PLEASE put your province/state/county, AND
country in the subject line if possible, or at least at the start of your
message text as this is an international list.   Examples: "Job opening -
Curator - HI, USA" or "Job opening - Registrar - Netherlands".    Anyone not
looking for a job, and any job seekers who had no wish to move to Hawaii or
the Netherlands could then delete the two messages unread.

It is also helpful if your institution's name AND city appear near the
beginning of the message text.
