Thanks to those who replied to my question on the Col. Richard Butler
letter.  After consulting someone from the Historical Society of
Pennsylvania, we found that the letter is essentially worthless, making
the $15,000 asking price a little more than silly.

Thanks to Tim from LA (not Los Angeles).  While I didn't need to use your
advice this time, I will keep it in mind.  I'm sure this won't be the last
time I ever deal with this sort of thing.
