I read an article recently that said that duct tape is no good for sealing
ducts!  Apparently the adsessive backing comes off of the plastic layer after
sometime in the heat so it doesn't hold a seal well on a duct.  I do not
remember where the article was - may have been in the Sunday paper's magazine
section...sorry.
