For those who would like to keep up with these bills in Congress or
communicate with House and Senate committee members regarding these
concerns and any others, I recommend the services of Project Vote Smart.
You can get up to date information on the status of bills by calling
their free hotline 1-800-622-SMAR(t) (that's 7627).

You can get addresses, phone, fax and email addresses, either from the
hotline or on the web at:
                 www.vote-smart.org
(as well as a host of other information about the issue positions of
candidates, voting records, campaign finance sources and much more).
When you call the hotline, you can also ask for a free "U.S. Government
Owner's Manual" which contains all the addresses, and a good deal of
other information. The organization's data base covers Congressional,
Gubernatorial and State Legislative races and incumbents records.

Project Vote Smart is a national non-profit which is scrupulously
non-partisan, and excels in providing factual information to voters.
Their web site, which is updated daily is considered by many to be the
best source of collected candidate and incumbent information.
