     The Old Capitol Museum of Mississippi History (formerly the State
Historical Museum), Jackson, Mississippi, accredited since 1972, seeks a
Registrar knowledgeable in collections care, management, and
computerization. The Registrar, who reports to the Curator of
Collections, will play a key role in the renovation of storage, the
relocation of the collection, and the development of permanent and
temporary exhibitions in a new facility and the restored Old Capitol.
Candidates should have excellent project planning and implementation
skills. Requirements include M.A. or B.A. in related field and
collections management experience. Beginning annual salary is
$17,949.48, not including fringe benefits. Mail resume listing three
