I am looking for some information on policies or guidelines that deal with
volunteers who collect in the same areas as the museum for which they are
volunteering collects.  There is a great deal of information on personal
collecting and staff members, but little on volunteers.  There is some
concern that if a volunteer is bound by the same conditions as suggested
for staff (that staff not collect in the same areas as the museum), then
volunteers will be lost.  This is a big concern for many of the smaller
museums in Alberta.
