Various members of our museum are working on aspects of museum practice to
get together a manual for use in a new building being opened in three years.
I am particularly interested in the content of labels - how to attract the
curiosity and interest; how to inform without boring the audience; getting
quick points across but providing more info for more academic visitors;
aiming to interest adults and children, etc. This is, of course, all bound
up with colour, style, design.
