Our parent organization is celebrating its 100th anniversary in
1996 and as part of our celebration the Museum has been chartered
to develop a time capsule. This poses many challenges to us
because we are a national organization with 18,000 members. A time
capsule like this differs greatly from the type offered to
families. Also, this time capsule will not be buried or sealed,
although the contents will be displayed at some future date.
Thus far we have thought about including memoirs from selected
members, and ephemeral items from the 1996 meeting. We will also
include some objects (which is still under discussion).

Has anyone out there taken on a similar project. If so, what did
you include in your time capsule? Also, were you able to create
some interactive elements? We will display the capusle during our
annual meeting where approx. 10,000 members
will have the opportunity to view and possibly interact with it.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
