I am very interested to learn of scholars doing research on 19th century
French pre-impressionist art, the Barbizon and Realist painters. I am
particularly interested in Theodule Ribot. Can you help me find out who is
out there toiling in the fields? I am aware of the work of Gabe Weisberg, of
course. I*d like to know if there is anyone else. Can you point me in the
right direction?

Are there any planned conferences or symposia that cover 19th century French
pre-impressionist art that I should be aware of? Please tell me of any
meetings, or suggest (preferably online) resources I can use to find out.
