The Ontario Museum Association has just published the fourth volume of the
Ontario Museum Annual/L'annuaire des musees de l'Ontario. This scholarly
journal presents wide-ranging and informed discussions of contemporary
professional issues affecting museums in Ontario and beyond.

This year's theme asks "Whose past?" is being preserved and presented in Ontario
museums. Six feature articles discuss current trends in museum administration,
collections management, exhibits, education and research. In addition, four
columns provide exhibition and CD-ROM reviews, thesis abstracts and publication
notes.

The 1995 Annual has been co-edited by Mary Lynne Williamson and Laura Suchan.
Sandra Black did the copyediting and design and coordinated the production and
distribution. The OMA Publications Committee and other Association members and
staff have also contributed to the publication's success.

Copies of the 1994 Annual, entitled "Managing Change", are also available. For
more information, please contact Sandra Black, OMA Publications Coordinator.
