I recieved this query and agreed to pass it on to Museum-L THe terminals are
located in Bloomington Il. I may add one to our collection which now
contains an IBM AT and an Apple II ( I think)

The Heartland Regional Network accepted a donation of some old
mainframe computer terminals. HRN cannot use these terminals.
The recycling organizations do not want them and I am not thrilled
at putting these things in a landfill.

I would appreciate it if you could use your museum connections
to see if any organizations would want these terminals. They still
work. They are 32 (yes, 32 units) IBM 3278 terminals and a cluster
control unit. These equipment was designed to work with IBM mainframe
computers only. They are in my garage on four pallets shrink
wrapped. I welcome anybody willing to contact me to pick any or
all of these up. I am not able to provide shipping. Each terminal
is about a 2 feet cube and weighs about 50 pounds.

Thank you for your help.
