For what it's worth, everybody here in Charlottesville calls
the Science Museum of Virginia "the Richmond Science Museum"
for sheer identification purposes (including our members who
visit frequently using ASTC reciprocal admissions). After all "the Science
Museum of Virginia" could be anywhere in the state (the name
of my Museum has the same problem).
 
I also vote for you to remain a "Museum" not a "Center" -
again, a center could be anything. Just be such a terrific
museum that there's no excuse for anyone to think you're
"stuffy".
