A hint for the rest of us whose mailers aren't that obliging:
 
Any e-mail list run by the listserv program (as opposed to, say, majordomo
or listproc) will respond to the following command:
 
set listname dualhdr
 
(e.g., set museum-l dualhdr).
 
Send the command to the listserv of the list in question (NOT to the list
itself!), and you should get an acknowledgment that the change has been
made and a list of all the options you have set on the list (e.g. digest or
repro or conceal).
 
Henceforth, any message the list sends you will have a few extra lines at
the top, repeating the listname and the subject line ... and giving the
name / email address of the original sender.
 
Very, very handy, and sure beats doing a log search every time you want to
find out who sent a particular message!
