Besides beautiful, functional design, Whipple set new
standards of performance in project management, budget
and scheduling.  He also has served as principal architect
for the LA Natural History Museum for a decade.  In that
capacity Whipple built or renovated galleries, made
a major adddition to the building, and retrofitted
climate control in the galleries WITHOUT ONE DAY OF
LOST VISITATION.
 
Anyone contemplating a museum construction project,
particularly on the west coast, owes herself at least
a conversation with Whipple.
