I'm sorry, I don't quite get your drift. Why is cleaning up the
clutter contributing to it? There are a number of news digests,
like Current Cities and EDUCOM, that I capture useful information
from. People are astounded when I tell them I monitor 15 to 20
lists at a time but because of that I know more about science,
libraries, archaeology, politics, visual resources etc. than
I would (or probably should) and that helps me to be a better
museum professional. I started out in magazine publishing where
the first thing you did in the morning was read EVERYTHING that
came in through the mail. I'm too old to stop now. And I think
we need MORE gopher sites so we can begin to figure out what this
monster will turn into.
