Here, here! Not all of us Gen-Xers come in here with wet
feet. I knew in some of my classes that what they said
would simply not work. Sure, before grad school I'd just
been a 'lowly tourguide' at a historical home in a tiny
town, but I knew what a miniscule budget they operated on.
I knew you weren't going to get some museums to spring for
expensive museum grade supplies when a bottle of clear nail
polish is 97 cents. But, then, I've got a mother who is the
Director of a local non-profit and her salary is in the mid
20s. Maybe I just knew what to expect in the cash-strapped,
non-profit field . . .
