You mean the cumulative effect of the Bush agenda rather than the LCV
report card, right?  I think the final straw was the administrations'
twisting the clean air act to suit its needs rather than the facts.

What does this have to do with museums?  Seems to me, the way it's
going, our children's experience of nature and wildlife will be a
function of museums, just as zoos are repositories for many formerly
wild creatures.
