Marybeth,

Thank you for sharing the information.  I was going to
write and ask you to do just that.  I know several
museums with compacting storage and none with electric
crank.  I was curious about how it worked.

The Sheldon Museum in Haines had compacting storage
installed a year and a half ago, after years of
dreaming, planning, and fund-raising.  We still love
them for their clean-ness, orderliness, and efficiency
of space.
