Have you tried contacting any embassies of Arab
Nations here in the States to see if perhaps they
might be willing to contribute to the funding or any
"benevolent" groups that support Islamic causes?  I'm
thinking that they might be willing to contribute to
curtail the "backlash," but I don't know if you would
wind up with other problems (government,
misunderstanding public, etc.).
