The Bangor Public Library is sponsoring an Antique Gesso/Guild Frame
Restoration Workshop


Jeanette Larkin of the Larkin~O’Shea Studio will be teaching the workshops.
Jeanette has over 15 years of experience as an artist and art restorer and
she will be repairing many paintings held by the library over the coming
year.
This workshop is designed for those who work with objects in antique frames,
which may need small repairs from time to time.



Workshops:
There will be two separate workshops focusing on minor repairs to antique
gesso or guild artwork frames. This is at times a messy process so we
request that you wear appropriate clothing. A craft style apron may be used
to protect clothing from major spills, however, the materials can spill onto
shoes and pants. Please do not wear anything that you can’t live without!

When: Workshop 1 - January 24, 2003
Workshop 2 - January 25, 2003

Time: 9AM to 1PM (please be prompt)

Where: Bangor Public Library - 145 Harlow St., Bangor, ME 04401

Registration Fee: $35.00 per person
The registration fee covers all supplies needed for this workshop except:
frame, apron, (any other material will be emailed and added to the
brochures)
