Thanks, John, for offering that interesting article.  I think you're right;
many of the author's theories are flawed, and it seems to take a pretty
easy view of the marriage between business and art--it's a complicated
relationship, especially for an established, New York museum.  But his
points about creating "franchises" of the Guggenheim are incredibly
interesting, and he states that the emphasis is not on the art or the
exhibitions, which I think is true.  Does anyone know Krens' background?
