One thing to consider, though, is whether the user
agreement for an online information source even
*allows* the posting of full-text articles to a list
like this. After all, if the NY Times charges for its
archive service, they don't really want their articles
available for free from another source.

Copyright is somehing that many of us forget about
when posting information to a list, because it's just
so easy to copy and paste, forward, etc. I'm as guilty
of this as the next person, having been reprimanded
(quite rightly) by the owner of another list for
posting full text to copyrighted material instead of
just providing a link.

My suggestion: make sure you check the user agreement
(if there is one) of the information source before
posting full articles to the list. There may be
specific information there about whether or not you
can transmit that material freely.
