Essay competition open to college students
The John Glenn Institute for Public Service and Public
Policy and the School of Public Policy
and Management at The Ohio State University invite
college juniors and seniors to
participate in a public policy essay competition. The
topic is: "Is the Business of Government
Business?What Should Government Do? What Should the
Private Sector Do?" Essays will be
evaluated on the clarity and persuasiveness of the
arguments made. Awards in the amounts
of $2,000, $1,500, $1,000, and $500 will be presented.
The submission deadline has been
extended to March 15, 2002. See the School of Public
Policy and Management website at
http://ppm.ohio-state.edu for registration details and
format specifications.
