I'm the collections manager for the White Mountain
Apache Tribe -- and the belief in ghosts and
supernatural activities are commonly held by community
(and museum) members. Not only is it intrinsic to the
spiritual nature of this culture, it is accepted as
common fact here. I've already had several
interesting experiences here, some more amusing than
frightening, others just a bit too "Sixth Sense" for
me.

We have at our disposal, cultural traditions that deal
with the interactions of supernatural and merely
natural phenomena, and how to put "them" at rest.
These events are considered as real as the grass or
trees around us, and "enlightened" individuals who
scoff at such things should come and spend some time
here with me and listen to the stories others tell
with supreme conviction.
