I am writing from the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Division of
Education. We are in the process of developing "activity packs" for adults
visiting with children to take to a few of our exhibit spaces. These
activity packs would hold suggested activities & copies of our fossils or
artifacts that would relate to specific exhibits in the museum.. Two areas
we are considering are Alcoa Hall of American Indians & Hillman Hall of
Rocks and Minerals. I am specifically interested in any ideas that any of
you have used in discover boxes, totes, and packs loaned to guests to use in
your exhibit spaces.

What type of container do you use?
Any suggestions for activities & objects that have been successful?
How do you loan out the packages & keep track of them?

Thanks for your help!
