Hello,

The Catholic University of America Museum Collection includes many artifacts of Catholic Americana, liturgical items, and religious artwork. Unfortunately, the museum is currently closed, and the collection is in storage (the sad story of a lack of support/funding from the university). Individual items can be brought out for researchers after permission from the Museum Director, and temporary exhibits are presented from time to time. Information is available at:

http://libraries.cua.edu/musecoll.html

Hope this is helpful,
Eric
