I know what you mean about sychronicity.  I've had similar experiences,
running across some odd piece of information, then finding an actual
manifestation of it in an artifact--or vice versa.  It's always a thrill (or,
at minimum, pleasant) when it happens.

On the other hand, think of how often it DOESN'T happen!  I think the laws of
chance (let's say mathematical probability) suggest that it has to happen to
some people some of the time--but in other cases, never.  Of course, we're
going to remember only those times when synchronicity occurs--we don't
remember the thousands of times it doesn't happen.
