Erica is right. Speaking from experience, a small
museum or historical would be perfect for you. You
will get an enormous amount of experience in just
about anything you're willing to try.

As for whenis learning enough--you can never learn
too much. I have an undergraduate degree in history
with adouble minor in anthropology and a master's degree
in historical administration. After a wonderful and
eye-opening stint doing archeological field work, I
am considering a second masters in anthropology. In
the mean time, I am volunteering in my town to get on
the Main Street Program in an effort to save our
turn-of-the-century downtown buildings. Oh, I'm also
a museum consultant working with several area museums
where I'm still learning new things every day. Learning
is a life-long experience since you never know where
life may take you ten years from now or even next week.
