we make the painting and installation of exhibitions part of the learnign
experience here at the Indianapolis Art Center.  Since our galleries are
central to the building, the students, staff and faculty often come in to
get a "peak" at the work. We also often have the artists in there assisting
with the hanging, so the students take the time to ask them about their
work.  It can slow us down, but we like (and our constituents like) the
"behind the scenes" views.
