Karen,
I used a large number of these boxes (banker box type which I got from Light
Impressions) to pack up & move our archival collections in 1998. On the
plus side, they are easy to assemble and the material of the box itself
doesn't absorb moisture.

On the negative side, they're not really waterproof because of their folding
construction - though I suppose one could try sealing the edges after
they're assembled. Also they are not as strong as corrugated cardboard.
Over time the sides & ends bulged out while I had some temporarily stacked
3-4 high on pallets. Of course that problem was also related to the heavy
weight of the materials inside. Where they now reside, one box high on
metal shelving, they are doing fine.
