I can't speak for Northern States Conservation. I know Helen and hope she
immediately addresses these issues.

I can speak for myself. I have been creating and teaching online courses
for museum and conservation professionals and students for over 8 years.

I strive to make my courses affordable and very flexible and user friendly
as possible. When I receive emails with questions or concerns I answer them
in a day or two. I have also called participants to discuss their questions
or concerns. I work very hard to find them answers and resources when they
bring up questions that aren't covered by the course. When they send in
their written assignment that the requirement for completing the course I
send them a certificate of completion with a thank you note. And I will
continue to answer any questions that they have long after they completed
the course. To me it is not only a matter of customer service, but treating
everyone as I like to be treated.

So I hope that these issues get cleared up for all of you as soon as
possible. And like my colleague Marc Williams has said, please don't judge
all of us in conservation from one bad experience.

Cheers!
Dave

Hi Barbara,

I had the same experience with the same instructor in 2016. I never
received my certificate either.
