Talk to your insurance company. They will help you formulate questions to
ask regarding the developer's management of risks and their  coverage
levels, all of which could affect your institution in case you have to file
a claim. Documentary photography of existing conditions for neighbors and
abutters is commonly provided by the project proponents before work starts.

Have you thought about how shadows cast from the new structure will affect
lighting in and around your building? If you have any sculptures or stained
glass that depend on light for their effects, you might end up having to
move them. You shouldn't have to pay for that cost.
