Dear Ms. Larry Hutchings <[log in to unmask]>

I read your email on this forum. By this, I am happy to see like this
information exchange or you may interest to my experience.
In once day, an American lady (Dr. Cecelia Levin) visited my lab seeing my
works. You may ask her for confirming my information. There was also Dr.
Wilhelmina H. Kal (chief of curators) from Tropen Museum of Netherlands. I
think, they were so impressed for the demo.

I work (for the National Museum of Indonesia) as a conservator and textile
curator in charge, ICOM member and visiting conservator at the Textile
Museum of Jakarta. I has computer knowledge (PCs and Macs) and softwares
for word-processing, spread-sheets, relational-databases, publishing,
multimedia and net-working. In my present post, I am managing the textile
collections of National Museum of Indonesia. I am developing the
inventorial works in special databases and has established the inventory
system with textual data and multimedia running on PCs or Macintoshes. My
classification and inventory system are directed toward research,
conservation, exhibition, etc.

My computer literacy = DOS/ Windows (NT/95), MacOS, WordStars, Lotus, Word
Perfect, MS Words, MS Excel, MS Point, PageMaker, (Borland) dBase, Claris,
Photoshop, Illustrator, FreeHand, FileMaker, 4th Dimension, Director,
QuickTime, Premiere, Internet (Webpage design), etc. (I always monitor for
the newest version of soft or hardwares)

My working experiene includes conservation for cultural materials
(textiles, paintings, metals, ethnographic objects, and most artistic &
historic works); textile management
(documentation-inventory-computerization); teachings and speakings on the
mentioned fields above.

I have educational background of biology (National Univeristy) and
conservation sciences of Tokyo National Research Institute of Cultural
Properties (TNRICP, Japan, 1989/90). I completed professional experience at
the Conservation Analytical Laboratory of the Smithsonian Institution
(CAL/SI, Washington D.C., 1991/ 92) and International Fabricare Institute
(IFI, Maryland District, USA, 1992). I held 'Unesco Fellowship Awards' from
1989 to 1992, and took a great opportunity to visit the conservation
laboratories at museums of New York City, Harrisburg and Washington D.C.
(i.e. Conservation Centre of NYU, Metropolitan Museum of Arts, National
Gallery, Textile Museum, etc.). I have ever demonstrated the para-red
dyeing at Carnegie Mellon College of Maryland; and took part in the
physical examination of color changing of (astronout) space-suits at Garber
Facility, the National Air and Space Museum (NASA) at Washington D.C.

I tried to send this via your email directly, but I could not do.
For more information or ask sending the demo version via internet/ email.
