How do museums foster learning? What theoretical models about learning work best in our institutions? How can we best apply these models to our diverse constituencies? These questions are the focus of the fourth Learning in Museums Seminar, offered by the American Association of Museums Professional Educational Programs in cooperation with the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, MT. The seminar is designed for directors, educators, curators, public relations staff, volunteers and trustees who are interested in new directions in education that enhance the visitor experience. In addition to research being conducted at specific museums there will be discussion on three major research studies that have widespread implications for the field.
