Hello, The Museum Employment Resource Center (http://w3.trib.com/~jamesal) has a new feature. We were looking for a way that cultural resource professionals could recommend useful books to one another electronically, so we created a small bookshop on our website in association with Amazon.com. The shop makes available a small selection of publications related to museum and other cultural resource professions. At present, there are a number of titles listed that some of our staff have worked with over the past few years, however, it is our intent soon to list titles solely recommended by our visitors. If you have found a book on museum work or cultural resource management particularly useful or informative, let others in the profession know. Please take a few minutes to e-mail MERC the book's title, the author's name, a brief description, and a few sentences stating why you recommend it. We will do our best to list the book in the shop with your recommendation. Positive or negative comments on books we already have listed are also appreciated. We ask that authors and publishers not recommend their works for listing in the MERC bookshop. We look forward to hearing from you! Please respond directly to MERC (jamesal @trib.com) Thanks all- ========================================================= Important Subscriber Information: The Museum-L FAQ file is located at http://museums.state.nm.us/nmmnh/museum-l.html.
