1998-99 FELLOWSHIPS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR The George Meany Memorial Archives offers five graduate fellowships for the academic year, September - May: archives (3), library (1), museum (1). Fellows work at the archives 19.5 hours each week for two semesters (28 weeks), and gain firsthand experience in: ARCHIVES (processing, reference, accessioning, records management, editorial assistance), MUSEUM (collections management, exhibit installation, public programming), LIBRARY (reference, OCLC cataloging, bibliography compilation, interlibrary loan, integrated automation system). APPLICATION PERIOD: December 15, 1997 through March 15, 1998 ELIGIBILITY: Applicant must be a full-time graduate student pursuing a degree in history, library science, museum studies, American studies, material culture or related discipline. U.S. citizenship is required.
