While not the list manager (John Chadwick fills that role fabulously), I'd be more than happy to help you with your quest. The easiest interface may be found at the list's web page, which is located at http://home.ease.lsoft.com/archives/museum-l.html. The interface is straight forward, allowing searches by date, author, subject, and text. There is also a method of accessing the archives through e-mail, and the FAQ begins to discuss how to access them in this method, as I remember. If you have specific questions, I would be pleased to assist you off-list. From what I can recall of budget discussions on the list, they were somewhat limited, but it was not a thread that I followed particularly closely. Anyway, welcome to the list! -Steve Eichner Research Analyst, Association of Science-Technology Centers [log in to unmask] ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: Help for a newcomer? Author: Museum discussion list <[log in to unmask]> at Internet Date: 8/14/97 11:19 AM Good morning all. I apologize for the inconvenience of bothering the entire list, but I wonder if there is a list manager I can query about accessing the archives? I just discovered Museum-L this morning, and I'm unsuccessfully going in circles trying to retrieve any past discussion about the recently finalized federal budget! Thanks for any help...
