In regards to Stephen Nowlin's note about removing oneself from the spam list. You (we) as individuals do (did) not appear on their (SERENITYWORLD.COM's) mailing list. They simply subscribed- and sent a message to- museum-l. The ONLY ADDRESS THEY HAVE (HAD) WAS MUSEUM-L's. IF YOU SEND MAIL DIRECTLY TO THEM (REMOVE), THEY WILL HAVE YOUR PERSONAL E-MAIL ADDRESS!!!! The owner/manager of museum-l needs to take action to stop their mail from getting to museum-l, which I'm sure has happened or will happen shortly. You may certainly send mail to serenityworld, but you may find that you end up with more junk mail! -Steve Eichner Research Analyst Association of Science-Technology Centers Incorporated [log in to unmask] Stephen Nowlin wrote: To those of you responding to the "Remove" instructions for the recent SerenityWorld SPAM: If you use your email "Reply" function to send a message back to a SPAM source, you only end up sending a copy of the SPAM back to the entire Museum-L list. You need to cut and paste the address of the SPAM source. However, most SPAMers delete their addresses as soon as their dirty work is done, and you end up getting back frustrating "mail undeliverable" messages. I looked up the Internic source of the SerenityWorld SPAM. Try sending your "Remove" and any other choice things you'd like to tell the SPAM originators to one or both of the following: Listed as domain owner and billing contact - Wayne, Michael MW4028 [log in to unmask] Michael Wayne 6507 Winfield Blvd., Ste. #C-224 Margate, FL 33063 954-974-5333 Listed as technical contact - Timm, Craig CT1245 [log in to unmask] CTE, Inc. 4246 Bertsos Dr. Las Vegas, NV 89103 702-869-4972 (FAX) 702-869-8985
