Could someone e-mail me or direct me to a list of museums that might be interested in an exhibit featuring the "Soda Pop Art" of Saigon: 50+ items made out of discarded aluminum cans -- including all manner of planes, sailing ships, automobiles, helicopters, and hot air balloons. The works range from belts to backpacks -- from dune buggies to drums, cars to crabs. They are made on a street corner by a group of young people in downtown Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). The purpose of the exhibit would be to draw attention to the eagerness and ingenuity of Vietnamese people in embracing the opening up of the country to foreign investment and tourism. -------------------==== Posted via Deja News ====----------------------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Post to Usenet
