Does your museum have written policies or standards regarding e-mail
     communications? Are these messages retained, deleted, printed at the
     total discretion of the sender and receiver? We are in the process of
     developing guidelines for internal (agency wide) and external
     communications?

     I would appreciate your comments and observations.  Please let me know
