I might suggest you contact the National Building Museum in Washington, DC. They have a wide array of exhibitions on architecture and engineering design. Their general phone number is 202/272-2448. Another architecture exhibit I saw a couple years ago is at the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore, Maryland. It had some effective interactive exhibits that demonstrated variety of engineering issues such as how arches and flying buttresses work. Good luck with your project.
