The Phoenix Art Museum exhibition is called OLD GLORY: THE
AMERICAN FLAG IN CONTEMPORARY ART. Private sponsors such as Dial
soap and the Phoenician Hotel have pulled out. Foundation
sponsors such as the Nathan Cummings Foundation of New York City
continue to support the exhibit, which features a flag in a
toilet, a flag on the floor, and a flag made out of dyed, sewn,
"caucasian" human skin.
