The buttons are stamped on the back with the Smithsonian logo and "Steiff Pewter." I was told by customer service from the catalog division that a note to the curator of the AMerican Hsitory Museum might be helpful. Since I could find no email address for that museum, your group seemed the closest. Can you help me, or direct me to a person who could give me information on these buttons?
