There does seem to be an influx of messages. I, however, put my vote, if there is one being taken, against splintering. I am for better headings and titles though. Many times I open up postings that have little interest to me just because I cannot make out what the topic is. I do like the serindipity of following threads that are not directly related to anything to which I would think to subscribe. My time is not infinite though and this costs me by the minute. This format does keep me intouch with the working museum community while I finish up my grad school entrance requirements and work outside, and have less time to volunteer and the local museum.
