Hearst Museum of Anthropology, UC-Berkeley Federal activities have generated millions of objects and archival records that are managed in public trust by hundreds of federal and non-federal institutions around the United States. This conference provides a forum for non-federal and federal participants to address major issues related to the long-term management of federally-associated collections. The goals of the conference are to foster communication and cooperation, build new strategies of action, create new and revive old partnerships, and improve technical expertise related to managing federally- associated collections of all kinds.
