I have a question for you museum folks. I am trying to collect a list of
names of artists and/or photographers who focus upon 'the library' or
'libraries' as a subject matter and explore this subject through visual
materials. I do not care if these artists are from the distant past or from
the present day.

I know about Anselm Kiefer, Thomas Barrow and a few more contemporary
others, but would greatly appreciate any information you may provide
regarding exhibitions, artists and works and any contact information you
can provide. Also... any artists you know of that spent some time working
as a librarian would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
