I think the question of how to credit temporary exhibits is a very interesting one. Our policy has been to not credit guest curators on the exhibit, but display their names prominantly on the catalog, which, presumably, they wrote. However we've had guest curators put far more volunteer time (at a pittance per hour) than the second tier donors who dropped $1000. Seems to me the chief brain deserves mention on the signage. If we did this, maybe the folks might get the idea that these things don't burst full grown from the head of Zeus. So who's doing what snazzy? Diane Brenner, Anchorage Museum
